McDonald's holds job fair
CEBU CITY (April 1) -- Aspiring restaurant managers (RMs) have a big future with McDonald's.McDonald's will conduct a job fair here on April 5 to 7 for Manager Trainees who will be molded to assist in running the operations of various McDonald's restaurants in Cebu and the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao.
It is open to aspiring RMs in and for McDonald's restaurants in Cebu, Tagbilaran, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.
This will be a big break for new graduates, especially for those who have good scholastic record and have demonsrated leadership qualities. Graduates from reputable schools have an edge, too.
"McDonald's is in need of people who are a cut above the rest," declares Amalia "Leng" Rasco, head of McDonald's HR Recruitment Planning and Development team.
"The world's best managed quick service restaurant is looking for management trainees," she adds, noting that management trainees have a very bright future to climb up the corporate ladder in McDonald's Philippines as it embarks on an expansion program.
Aspiring McDonald's managers may present in person their application during the 3-day job fair to the Human Capital Group at McDonald's Jones on April 5 to 7, and submit themselves for interview on April 6 and 7.
Those who can send their applications ahead by email to jobs@ph.mcd.com no later than April 4 will be given priority, according of Christian C. Eje, operations consultant for Cebu.
